Zx5-still a contender for club racing....?
 

As title really. Can't bring myself to spend £500 on a zx6.6 or whatever it's called so thinking zx5..
Thoughts anyone....?

There are a couple of zx6 on Facebook for sale, one is £150 and other £220

Zx5 is ok but zx6 is much better for higher grip surfaces

Depending on your budget a good used xb4 16 would be a good choice if looking outside of kyosho brand

run what you have to start and if its a handful,not competitive or you're not enjoying it then look for something else.there's a guy at my club that runs a zx5 in brushed mode and is up in top half of A final.don't be afraid to run it.

ZX6 was a big step forward over the ZX5 especially in terms of the steering. The latest ZX6.6 isn't much different to the standard ZX6 and can be upgraded to the latest spec over time :thumbsup:
