SC Trucks @ the indoor meeting

I am going to book in for SC trucks and I know of two others that are going to book in.

Anyone else racing SC this winter, we need a full heat.

kennyrc 19-09-2010 03:49 PM

I tried to book in for SC, was told there was only two entrants & I was one of those. This is a real shame as SC was good fun last time round.

How many entrants are needed before a heat is run.

birdy 19-09-2010 04:34 PM

Not sure how many for a heat but I would say at least 10, sure there is more to book in.

I would be up for it providing a newbie armed with a Traxxas Slash 4x4 wouldn't be laughed at (or frowned upon)!

i am entering today. ( form in post) please run trucks it was ace last year. should be 4 of us at least . and as soon as everyone sees em racing im sure we will have a full heat. last year there was 2 heats.. cmon guys get ya trucks out.

ryanlownie 20-09-2010 12:44 PM

Might get another if there's plenty of them running. It'd have to be separate from 1/8 though as it wasn't even funny at last years event having 1/8 vs 1/10 SC.

Cirrus 20-09-2010 06:59 PM

What do I need to do to register my interest? As Sunday was canceled I never got the chance to join as yet so - HELP!

DianneH 22-09-2010 11:58 PM

If you wish to enter the trucks class at the Chadderton indoor series then send me your entry - if I receive sufficient then we can run a heat - I will let you know either way whether we receive enough.

It will need to be payment with entry as for the 2WD and 4WD classes to ensure that we have enough entrants that are going to turn up on the day.

trucks heats were good fun last year untill the 1/8th arrived , i think this has put every one off, if it was advertize trucks only no 1/8th you may get more entrys ,

kennyrc 23-09-2010 03:05 PM

If SC are to run this time around would it be SC & 1/8th electric mixed or purely SC entrants? As I posted my entry with the intention of running 1/8th electric.

Hello all..

8th Electric will not be racing..!??? and they have never even been on the form for this 2010 / 2011 series?

If you look on the entry form its 2WD, 4WD and SC Trucks?

So if people want to race SC Trucks.. you best get booked in!

Kenny.. 8th electric unfortunatley are not included under " SC Trucks " so if you have booked in to SC with the intention of running 8th Electric it wont happen im afraid... As much as i like 8th Nitro and 8th Electric... the 8th Electric indoors was an accident waiting to happen as far as i was concerned... Sorry folks... SC Trucks ONLY!

Cheers

Nick

JG, good to see Stevo's Vorza is finally going to get some use lol. Stick with my X6 until I get board, so no SC for now :(

Indoors or outdoors marshalling any 1/8th race is scary.

Tyres

What tyres would I need for the SC indoor?

I only have the standard on the Slash 4x4 and looking at the cost of SC wheels and tyres I may have to give it a miss and just enter in the 2wd heats.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Guys!
