BW Racing - CAT SX alloy hinge pin brace

Fitting the brace is quite straight forward. On our S1 pre-built car, the blocks needed spacing out slightly with both 1mm washers on the inside - this seems to be the common setup and what the brace was designed to fit so the holes line up properly. http://www.oople.com/forums/../rc/ph...catbrace08.jpghttp://www.oople.com/forums/../rc/ph...catbrace04.jpg The hinge pin screws are a snug fit through the brace - which doesn't hinder installation thankfully. With the blocks reattached but still loosely attached the hingepins slide back into place with the brace in place. http://www.oople.com/forums/../rc/ph...catbrace07.jpg (above - before and after - the left shows how the CAT came, 1mm spacer inboad, and one on the outside - to fit the brace both 1mm spacers need to be on the inside of the mount, spacing it outwards.) With everything tightened it's just the bumper which needs slight attention to re-fit. Is the unequal shimmage intentional, "see who spots it first", or haven't you noticed Jimmy? Im guessing its right now, otherwise the braceage wouldn't fit.

Sorry, it's uneven to show the before and after. the left shows how the CAT SX S1 comes.... the right shows how it has to be (it says in the text - maybe it's not clear enough?) with 2 1mm washers inside the blocks
