Off-road racing in the Beds/Bucks area?
 

Does anyone know of any off road racing clubs in this area? I’m struggling to find any.

Don’t mind 2wd/4wd buggies, stadium trucks or short course trucks. I know it’s the wrong time of year to be racing outside. Although in decades past we used to do indoor carpet racing during the winter months.

there is Silverstone (tuesday night) and Junction 16 (friday night) up the M1 from you. but they only do saturday meetings once a month in the winter.
also there is Herts nitro on their electric track (summer tuesday nights) and stotfold (summer wednesday night and most sundays) a bit further east.
of if you head south, come and join us at DMS thursday nights in watford. we have a saturday winter series too.

Silverstone MCC (indoors) race on a Tuesday night at Moulton College in Northampton. They also have a winter series once a month, this month they are holding the BRCA Indoor championships at the Centre MK.

HNMC (outdoors) just outside Ware in Hertfordshire race outdoors on a Sunday in the winter and Tuesday night in the summer.

Stotfold MCC (outdoors) race on a Sunday in the winter and summer I think. They also race on a Wednesday in the summer.

Junction 16 (indoors)race in Daventry on a Friday night and also hold a winter series on a Saturday once a month.

We have a few GT12 and Snoring car clubs in the area, Leighton Buzzard,Aylesbury and Bromham.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I know of Junction 16. I’m sure they used to be MK based a couple of years back?? Sadly they are a little far away now if it’s a week day. I’d never get there in time :( Weekends maybe.

Not sure Darren will let me race at his DMS events. Nothing directly to do with me. But he had a disagreement with my Dad some 23 years ago and stopped me racing at his events.

I’ll check the others out.

Their webpage and email doesn’t seem to work. So not sure if they re still going. Although when I last raced with them it was on road cars only. I don’t mind these but always enjoyed off road vehicles more so. Plus I don’t currently have an on road car at the moment.

As far as I can remember back there is no one banned from DMS, certainly not after 23 years...

Flipping heck, it looks like the top heat start the last round at 9.30 ish tonight, i may pop up and have a look lol

Only watching online, looks like they finished at 8.30ish pm yesterday, round 3 heat 15.

Up early this morning starting at 8am round 4, heat 6 of round 5 just finished at 10.30am.
