Grand Prix Meeting 17/6/18

BMRCC Proudly announce the Bury GP

Date Sunday 17th June at our Goshen track:
The Goshen Sports Centre
Tennyson Avenue
Bury
Lancs.
BL9 9RG

Classes 2wd, 4wd and vintage.

This is a great opportunity for all levels of drivers to enjoy a relaxed race day without the usual pressures of Regionals/Nationals etc. And if you intend entering the end of season BRCA Juniors and Vets Championship here on August 4th and 5th, you'll enjoy getting in lots of laps to help prepare you for that.

A different format to add interest; 4 rounds of 6 min qualifying with all 4 to count. Bump ups (2 per final). So you can qualify for the bottom final, and still make the "A."

BRCA 1/10 Offroad rules and regulations apply. Particularly max charge voltage 8.4v, and lipos have to be charged in a charging bag.

Tyres choice is open provided they are commercially available.

Prize for each final winner

// Vintage rules:

Any car released before 1995 (re released allowed) any plastic Tamiya Kit, New or Vintage.

*Max 13.5t Brushless Motor with no timing or boost. i.e Blinky *Max 10.5t Brushless Motor with no timing or boost. I.e Blinky (may run in same heat but separate point scoring applies)

*Any 7.4v battery

*Any tyre

*Hop up parts allowed. //

Entrants must be BRCA members.

Entry fee is £8 members/£5 juniors.
£12 non-members/£8 juniors.

Pay on the day, but numbers will be limited, so book in on our Oople thread to make sure you get a place.

Gates open 07:30am, practice in heats from 08:30am, hoping to be finished around 5 pm.

Not sure about catering at this stage, but there are shops/ Mcd's etc not far away.

Please note we have a new Mylaps decoder, all PT's work except some of the older MRT's, have a look on our other posts for more information or just contact us and we will advise further.

So book in by replying to this thread stating which class, PT number, licence grade if known, good luck, and have some fun.

Club PT's are reserved for new racers or if we have any issues, have you not traded in with MRT for a new one? Looking back through posts you have a PT that works!!!
