Big bore shocks+springs, or only big springs?

I see Avid and Ghea are now out with collars & cups, making it possible to use big springs (made for big bore shocks) on the std. diameter shocks.

Is this even better than going for big bore shocks AND springs???

Could someone please elaborate?

You've posted in the wrong section of your asking us AE guys!
I use them and love them!
Makes the cars easier to drive more consistent and they glide over bumps much better carrying more speed

Thx!

I posted them here as I was wondering more "generally" as you have Losi, Yokomo, Kyosho, Durango big bores and so on.

And now the possiblity to use only large springs. What do you think about only large springs & std. shocks vs. also big bore shocks?

What brand big bores do you use yourself?
