IMPORTANT - Lipo charging - new ruling.
 

This is an announcement mainly for all our Touring Car drivers as it does not affect the Mardave drivers.

As from the clubs Spring Championship Round 1 (May 6) all drivers using LiPo batteries MUST USE a LiPo charging sack. As the BRCA have now introduced this rule, we feel it must now be enforced at our club. You've therefore got just under a month to get one - speak to Russell who can provide one for you.

The new ruling will be policed very strictly to ensure the clubs insurance is not affected in any way and to ensure the safety of all participants:

No Lipo Sack = No racing

It's as simple as that - you have all been warned :woot:

Just need to amend the wording slightly with the 'No Lipo = No racing'.

Of course, there are some who come to the club with LiPo's fully charged and do not charge them up during the evening. If that is the case of course you can race.

What I meant to say was that you MUST use a LiPo sack if you are charging them anywhere inside the Bromham Hall where we race. If you charge them in the car park outside in your car then it is entirely up to you if you decide to use a sack or not.
