Vintage event at Torch
 

Hi all

2019 will see Hampshires TORCH club host it's first Vintage event, the name and date of which has yet to be decided. Once the Nats and Regional dates are out, a date can then be chosen.

We may follow a similar format to the Iconic Revival, where cars are placed into not only 2 or 4wd, but also of year of manufacture.

Also a chance of a novelty race of some sort, IE, big wheels, one car class etc, we shall see, it is early days. So, anyone down South and those willing to travel are more than welcome.

We now have a date for this event. The 11th of August 2019. Pop that in your diaries, filofax', or whatever date reminding method you choose. More details to follow.

The TORCH Classic, 11th August 2019

Following the previous idea we use the Revival format due to familiarity, here is a reminder of the categories.

2WD:
1977 - 1981
1982 - 1983
1984 - 1988
1989 - 1993
1994 - 1998

4WD:
1977 - 1986
1987 - 1988
1989 - 1993
1994 - 1998

Depending on numbers too we may also have a dedicated "ToP CaT bOnaNZa". Please show us who is interested for this as if numbers don't come up, they can run in appropriate category, reres included. If you are running a Top Cat rere with upgraded tranny, please add the word "upgraded" next to it so we can better gauge Top Cat numbers. Categories may alter slightly. We shall see how things start to pan out.

Cool, would you like to tell us what you're gonna be driving? Only so we can get an idea of numbers, cars and consequently, heats.
