We are proud to announce we are running a Winter Series once more this year at our fabulous venue at Parmiters Sports Centre, Watford which has been sponsored by X-Factory UK

The series will consist of 6 rounds (best 4 to count) and there will be seperate classes for 2wd and 4wd Buggies (we will also run heats/finals for Micros, Stadium Trucks and Short Course Trucks if enough entires - we will require a minimum of six for each class to run)

Round 1 - Saturday October 1st 2016
Round 2 - Saturday November 5th 2016
Round 3 - Saturday December 3rd 2016
Round 4 - Saturday January 21st 2017
Round 5 - Saturday February 18th 2017
Round 6 - Saturday March 18th 2017

Venue
Our venue is our usual place - Parmiters Sports Centre, Thomas Parmiter School, High Elms Lane, Watford, Herts, WD25 0JU

Please be aware that the postcode is for the school, the entrance for the Sports Centre is approx 50 yards before this further down the lane.

Times and Format
Doors will open at 12pm Midday (yes you get a nice lay in) and racing will run through until 5pm. Once track is ready we will have open practice, 4 rounds of Qualifying and "Bump Up" Finals for both the 2wd and 4wd main classes. The last two places in each final will be promoted from the first and second placed cars from the previous final....


Cost and Booking In
The cost to race for those who are pre-booked is £10 (Club Members are only £5), booking in (if spaces still available) on the day will be available at the cost of £12 for anyone. All booking-in (which is open now) is on our club website - www.dmsresults.co.uk on a strict first come first served basis. No pre-pay required, you only have to pre-book in advance to secure your entry, however if you know you cannot attend an event after entering please be sure to un-book yourself to avoid jeopardising your entry into later rounds.

Facilities and Track
The track is an indoor track consisting of 90% carpet and 10% slippery floor with various man made jumps, bumps and obstacles included. Track size is smaller than on our previous "all-day" events and entries are being limited to just over 50 across the two main classes, so be sure to be quick to enter.

Pitting space will be ample (please bring your own table and chair). Limited 240V power outlets (please bring your own extension leads) Any 12 volt batteries, in a leak proof container please..

No onsite food other than vending machines sadly, however McDonalds is less than a 5 min drive away

No Control tires are in force so feel free to bring your Schumachers, Ballistics, GRP's, JConcepts, Prolines etc as you please :-)

Our full DMS trackside spares shop will be present for all your needs, if there is anything you need in particular, then please call or place your order on our website by close of business on the Friday before and we will bring it along for you and have all pre-orders ready for collection trackside.

As per BRCA rules, all LIPO batteries being charged MUST be inside a recognised LIPO sack (or similar).

PT's must be used (no handout transponders will be available on the day) we are still using an RC3 decoder so all AMB PT's, AMB Harrys and MRT's can be used, however AMB Purcys will not count.

End of Series Trophies will be awarded for overall top ten in all classes as well as a raffle provided by our series sponsors X-Factory UK too, this will all take place at the end of the final round on March 18th

booked in for all round but unless we get any more 4wd doesn't look like I'm going to be Racing:(

There will be plenty come race day, if not the classes can simply be mixed like Thursdays

I can't make the first round due to karting, but on the others I'm gonna run primarily 4ed but bring my 2wd too just incase

though the whole hall is available to us on the saturday, so will have some more space to play with. the carpet will be laid out at 90 degrees to whats in the video, so we can roll the carpet out further.

typical lap times on a thursday are 10-12 seconds.

Further to Rich's comments, there will be 6 rolls of carpet in use (not 5) and possibly some slippy floor too..

Great days racing today , friendly , chilled out, and away from the rain!

Brilliant days racing! Well worth the 2.5 hours round trip and the bump up finals were a great idea. Thanks team DMS :lol:

Really competitive day today, so many people nearly in the A, only 12 seconds covered 3rd to 10th in qualifying.

Lie in, relaxed racing and home in time to have dinner with family and watch a movie. Great family friendly day.
