The unofficial 2008 Kiddy National Thread

I know its still 2 weeks away but hey, i cant wait:thumbsup:

Any questions, thoughts,predictions.

My prediction For 2wd is either Cragg or Bloomers, if its not one of them too then im reckon it will be another driver from the A final:thumbsup:

And Yardy for 4wd, thats it :woot:

Chris Doughty 03-04-2008 08:40 AM

I would love to see 10 different types of 4WD car in the A-Main, that would be awesome!

Lee 03-04-2008 08:44 AM

Its possible!!!

Cat
S4/S44
BJ4
HB
Aero
Pred
B44
Yok
Losi
Xfactory
Kyosho
Tamiya

But realistically some teams dont have the drivers.

Chris Doughty 03-04-2008 08:59 AM

there was 8 different chassis at the indoor finals. just need to push out a few of the HB crowd with some other cars and hey presto!

millzy 03-04-2008 09:03 AM

our we counting losi as x2 cars? as in xx4 and xxx4 or just as Losi

Chris Doughty 03-04-2008 09:08 AM

oh yes, it was only 7 makes, but 8 types of car at the NIF's

Kopite 03-04-2008 09:13 AM

i was running the xxx4 at the NIF, not the xx4

jimmy 03-04-2008 09:15 AM

 you mad man! Are you running that outdoors as well then?

Kopite 03-04-2008 09:38 AM

hell yeah! bring on Silverstone

millzy 03-04-2008 09:42 AM

what team drivers are runnig the xx4 and whos runnig the xxx4?

tricky should get the xxx4 in the A easly right , i cant see PW bining any of the set ups and mods they did to it

Oh and stand have you have the front gear box housing rip off yet>? just pray all the jumps this year have down ramps

telboy 03-04-2008 10:36 AM

My prediction is-

Heavy rain, or Hail like last year.

You lot were ok when that happened, you want to try racing TC's on 10mm hail with a 5mm ground clearence.:lol:......very interesting. It was like trying to race a shopping trolley.

We'll have less about pushing th HB team out of the way too Mr D.:p

I don't think Daz is doing the 1/10th Nats this year is he??

I'd say Neil for 2wd, just because in the years i used to do Nats he was always sooo fast at Kiddy (not that he isn't anywhere else) - He just always seemed to like it there! Pidge could be close if he gets in though :-(

millzy 03-04-2008 10:45 AM

neil allways has his slipper very lose and screaming at kiddy

HB seem to be almost as big as the Losi team from 2004-2005. relative to other manufacturers

Kopite 03-04-2008 11:05 AM

For Kiddy, I'm going for Tom to win 2wd, Pidge 4wd

..and Liverpool to win the Champions League

millzy 03-04-2008 11:10 AM

dont be daft

Lee 03-04-2008 11:11 AM

I have to say its Uniteds this year. Im not a fan but who is even close to them:confused:

millzy 03-04-2008 11:26 AM

Lee 03-04-2008 11:28 AM

United Liverpool Final

millzy 03-04-2008 11:34 AM

Jamie B4 03-04-2008 11:36 AM

Woa!!! dont care about that one we need to beat Roma and Barca first

RogerM 03-04-2008 11:37 AM

And how exactly did we go from racing at Kiddy to discussing a bunch of blouses chasing a sack of wind ?????

telboy 03-04-2008 11:38 AM

How did this get onto the subject of football?

Easy, we will have to have our own United v Scouse Rubbish game at Kiddy national on saturday night

Chris Doughty 03-04-2008 11:44 AM

I have no interest in what other football teams are doing, I enjoy playing football, but thats where it ends.

Kopite 03-04-2008 11:44 AM

i'm all over that!

who wants a north vs south footy match on the saturday?

RLGfx 03-04-2008 12:17 PM

glad i'm not coming... last time i played footy at a race meet i ended up with a smashed face...

Kopite 03-04-2008 12:20 PM

serves you right for getting in the way of a Simon Willets volley :woot:

MattADH 03-04-2008 12:27 PM

Sounds like a return of the regular matches at the euros but on a national scale.

Someone should start a thread where people can put their name down for either team...

That should keep the non-footballing oople users happy!

Wraggy 03-04-2008 12:28 PM

North v South !!! im from the Midlands so i'll Ref then :woot: ...

I am sure that a suitable split across the country can be decided.

At least no-one will argue with you!!!

Swiss 03-04-2008 12:34 PM

What about a Southener, supporting a northern team?

millzy 03-04-2008 12:37 PM

Any way back to kiddy

So snow....any one think you will have to race in snow again

MattADH 03-04-2008 12:41 PM

Millzy - are you racing at Kiddy? Not being rude but thought that you had hung up your transmitter?

Are we of topic anyway?

millzy 03-04-2008 01:48 PM

How do us English have any hope in speaking and spelling the Welsh language, when one of their own can't spell Talywain. :p
