Illuzion - BAJR - Traxxas Slash Desert body

JConcepts got in touch with his new 'BAJR' body, for Short Course chassis' - with a hint of VW mixed with hard-core desert truck styling.

JConcepts: Straight from the Desert, this is a whipping new design from JConcepts. The BAJR, as it is named, is concept inspired from the ground up to be the ultimate in desert and off-road looks and performance. The BAJR is a fresh design, starting from the front of the vehicle, the super narrow and tucked front quarter panel treatment creates one of the slickest Illuzionized looks around. The round Baja-esque profile of the cab area gives that familiar desert appearance. As the design develops toward the rear, the pronounced roof scoop, and proceeding cut-out and escape area makes this body unmistakably JConcepts. Pronounced rear fender flare treatment and dovetail rear end finishes off the most concept inspired Short Course body to date.

The BAJR is all about being unique, competition ready and concept inspired. Get creative with this body; run it as a short course racing vehicle with competition tires or as a desert vehicle with paddle and ribbed tires. Go ahead, get crazy add a whip antenna; that’s what it’s made for.

I have to say it's not what i'd expect from JC - The front makes it look like it basically doesn't actually fit properly - like someone's taken a shell off a completely different car and just bodged it to fit??

Going to need the inner body with that shell. I’m hoping someone releases bodyshells of the cool 70s/80s off road trucks.

nw those shells would be nice.....the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux with the Chevy Blazer of that era, definately a better looking proposition.

:woot: WTF...

It`s to try and compete with the pro-line Baja shell which of course it doesn`t ! but it would be a dam good off road shell as theres loads of room for the ride!

Personally i`d stick to the Baja shell! sommit like this ....
