Cragg doubles at 2012 oOple Race

Neil Cragg secures both titles at this years oOple Invernational race - dominating the 2WD and 4WD classes and winning from pole position in both cases.

Both mick and Neil commented about how amazing the RHR Dirt track was to drive - and the whole oOple event being a great fun atmosphere to race at - and they're sure to be back in 2013 to defend the titles.

It was a great weekends racing and after the meeting had ended and everyone went home - a few of us went to the local pub for some food and drinks to talk about how things could have been better and what the future holds. Whatever happens in 2013 - the oOple Invernational will be bigger and better than ever - and remember guys and girls - there is NO preference to better drivers at all. We aim for a fair split of overseas / top drivers and general club drivers who've maybe never been to a large race meeting before,

Our report will no doubt be a little delayed with all our work from the weekend but with 47.5gb of video footage to look through and sort out - there should be a kick-ass video showing some of the happenings from this years events.

Again - thanks everyone for coming and all the organisers hard work.

Just want to say what an amazing meeting at a truly first class venue. The Oople team once again have put on a race event that should be admired by all.

The racing was also just awesome with some very close battling going on but what can be said about Neil Cragg other than that he's just an awesome talent on the sticks. This isn't to detract from the other guys but Neil just has something no one else has................Mick Cragg!!!!!! What a team they make.

Would be awesome to see the if some of the YANKS would come over & show off their skills on the amazing RHRD.

Also want to say well done to all the lads that made the trip from Scotland you all did a great job on a new race surface.

AWESOME event on an AWESOME track with an AWESOME atmosphere and entertainment!

RHR Dirt crew and the oOple team should be incredibly proud of the event, it was a great competitive event that I actually ENJOYED being at

nothing beats the feeling of nailing a good lap on dirt with 2WD :woot:

Also to Add, well done to Neil, I think that's the best I've ever seen him drive, even comparing his worlds winning year.
(I don't think I actually got to see Neils 2WD all day, he was always pretty much half a lap ahead through qually and finals... lol)

Story is that Neil went down to race control after one of his finals to get a print of the result as he thought it was about the best he's ever driven.
