Shock tower mods
 
Hi all I keep hearing about a shock tower mod for my kc but I can’t seam to find anything about it. Hoping some one can point me In the right direction please

For what purpose? At the nationals we run the shock tower stock. The only mod that we do is add 3mm at the top of the rear shocks to space them out from the tower to land better.

I think the mod he has heard about is the one which mounts the tower on the tear but not as far back as the stock rear mounting on the KC does. This means that the rear wing is not so far off the back. I have also seen a newer version of this mod which uses the L1 upper gearbox casing mounts. They do need material removed for the mod to work.

That's only to run shocks on the rear. I know the mod but honestly wouldn't bother.
