Differences to the Serpent

The new Team Durango car looks awesome, real good!
What are the differences to the Serpent S500 though?

I would say you should think of it like this.

the origional 'Durango' slim car ran in prototype form, along the way to becomeing 'production' it got called a Serpant S500 a few times, and now you see it called a Durango again.

plus, the Durango is a no expenses spared car, whereas the Serpent would of been built to a budget and profit.

Well you can say the Durango is a higher specced car, no cars are designed to be 'no exsenses spared', they have to make a reasonable profit from the project.

I read somewhere that the designer was from durango and was asked to design the S500 for serpent but before the design was put into production there was a falling out between them and the designer from durango decided to make the design himself instead, i pressume that is why there are many similarities like the layout and the diffs etc

sort of, serpent and durango joined forces, thats why on the stand there is a serpent and durango name. Serpent did all the moulds etc and the serpent car has the prototype arm which are actuallywhite and as brittle as glass (they were painted black for the show).. The same venture was being undertaken with the 8th car.
Unfortunatly serpent had problems, but im led to belive serpent provided the moulds etc and looking at a the diff the parts are serpent s400 internals. So may not be serpent anymore, but its got serpent in it.
