Cobra ROUND 3 Update

Ok some GOOD news about this round next week!:D

BACON BUTTIES, HOTDOGS AND FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE!!!

After measuring and planning with members of the WRCA committee today we are pleased to be abe to say we should be able to accommodate more drivers than initially thought! - well along with throwing the cobra club members in various small rooms(cupboards) and a few in the kitchen:thumbsup:

The capped entries system on the WRCA site HAS NOW been released to allow further bookings:D

If we find that we find we do run out of room we will have a 9m x 3m sided gazebo running along side the length of the hall with power to help out. Access to and from the hall should be directly out from a hall fire exit into the gazebo so no long walks round etc

Pitting will be on a first come - first served basis with power and tables n chairs supplied to help the pitting situation.

Please arrive early to ensure a choice of pitting area of your choice rather than whats left!

Doors open 8am

Address:

Marshfield Village Hall
Wellfield Road,
Marshfield,
Cardiff
CF3 2UB

Peetbee edited post to add the following info from original topic!
There will be teas, coffees, soft drinks as well as Bacon butties, hotdogs, chocolate, crisps and more!

Doors will open at approx 8am with Practice starting at approx 9am. Can't tell you what time we will aim to be finished by as that will depend on entries

There is mains power, but bring an extension lead as you may not be able to pit right next to the socket!
Talking of pitting, please DO NOT bring your own tables and chairs, we have limited space so we will be laying out tables and chairs in advance to ensure space is maximised and disabled access is available

Track should be multi-surface & tyres most commonly used at club are Schumacher yellow mini-pins & mini-spikes.

Thanks

COBRA

Please feel free to Pm me any questions you may have

How many more spaces?? How many do you currently have booked in??
Cobra have been offered the Swansea venue with ample pitting space & able to accomodate how ever many racers but still choose to run a very cramped meeting,no doubt there will be quite a few dissapointed racers who didnt manage to get an entry
I as many others i talked to today just dont understand it
My post is not to cause a barrage of nagatives for Cobra, its my opinion.

Well the 9 metre by 3 metre gazebo is good for at least another 20-25 people easily , the wrca website shows 41 entries so far with some of those for mulitple people we are just awaiting an update from Pete B to get an exact figure.

Track wise the venue is only shorter in length than swansea but as wide i.e 5 carpet rolls wide so not that cramped on track:thumbsup:

cheers for your thoughts....

Just to confirm, and I know it's probable a stupid question, but is this gazebo going outside? If so what type of gazebo is it as it'll be freezing surely?

Currently have 37 people entered, which turns into:
24 x 2wd 10th
12 x 4wd 10th
11 x 4wd 16th

This assumes everyone entered is still coming!
