Round 1 - Who's running...

Quick poll

Who's running what on Sunday 16th May?
at Round 1 of Scottish 10th Off-road Championship...

DanB4 11-05-2010 06:02 PM

Hi Dom,

I know of approx 8 people (regulars) who are running but don't come on oOple, 6 of them 4wd and 2 of them 2wd.

2wd = George with his X6
2wd = Jason with his B4FT
4wd = Stuart with his B44
4wd = Den with his xxx4
4wd = Phil with his B44
4wd = Dasbo with his Durango
4wd = Steve with his ZX5
4wd = David with his ZX5
4wd = Me with my ZX5FS

Assuming they all come of course! I have voted for 4wd already.

See you Sunday.

Dan

Ill be running my X6 - (2wd) and Paul Maxwell will be runnning his B44 - not sure what John Allan will be running.

dasbo 12-05-2010 09:48 AM

As long as I can get to the bottom of my persistent electrical problem, I will be running 4WD only as Dan mentioned above.

Dasbo (aka - DNF)

Donutt 12-05-2010 09:49 AM

Remember to vote guys. Lets get those numbers up...

jl 12-05-2010 07:36 PM

Oh no! Only George and a few other quick guys running 2wd... looks like I'll be playing "pull over and let the quick guys pass" on Sunday then!

Donutt 12-05-2010 09:44 PM

We're more optimistic in Scotland, Jas.

We call it "playing catch-up" ..

(My God - I didn't think I'd ever describe Scots people as optimistic... )

Hi Guys,

If any of you are planning to head to the Stonehaven circuit tomorrow (Saturday) please contact George at george_haining@dril-quip.com or email me on dan@muchmoreracing.com and I'll give you his mobile number. He wants to make sure the site is open for you so will need to know timings.

Cheers,

Dan

:mad:Speak for yourself! Bah humbug!!!!!

It was goog to meet a few of the guys from the forums though. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to one or two of the other rounds. Brownie points permitting.

Yeah great day today, big thanks to George and the rest of the Stonehaven team. Track was really good and made the best of the space available. The rain didn't spoil things either :)

First time I've ran the Durango outside, and it went fairly well. Looking forward to coming up again in August.

I'll have some pics up on the EK website during the week and I'll post a link.

Raymond

PS: Well done to Dan on his win with the Kyosho.

Well I had to pop on to post that I had some fun running Georges X6? and Dans Lazer during the break between final 2 and 3. 16 yrs since I last drove an off road buggy, and it was a wee bit like riding a bike. Had a blast.

My research has stepped up to actively looking to buy some kit and have a bit of fun this yr at the remaining Stonehaven events.

Cheers for now.

David.
