Shock alternatives

Just wondered if there's an alternative to the ansmann big bore shocks? I like the look of big bore shocks, but I'm loathed to pay £50 a pair for them, anyone know of a cheaper big bore alternative?

I think around the £50 mark seems to be about the standard rate for 1/10th big Bore shocks.

Take a look on ebay, i got myself a nice set of 4 used Schumacher cat shocks for £14. I was also not happy about Having to pay £110 for shocks on a car that is only going to be used 20 mins a week. I also think 3racing do a set of threaded shocks for a good price. Hope this helps. And good luck

i'd be tempted to go for the FTX vantage shocks if i was looking to go for big-bore shock on a tight budget.

My monkey and now X2C run schuhmacher big bores. Fit fine, just need to space the top out alittle with a 2-3mm washer for collar clearance
