What ball diff drops in the b6.1

I just bought the b6.1 and want to know what ball diffs drop in?

Do the older versions from the b6 or even the b5m fit?

This is my first associated buggy so not too clued up.

Any diff from the B6 series will fit exactly as it did in the B6 (note the new B6.1 gear diff is better in every way IMHO)

As for B5 diffs they should go in with bearing spacers in place as per the gear diff fitting in a B6.

Just to add to this I am pretty sure that B6 diff I had left over is 1mm narrower than the new B6.1 diff, I had the alloy cover AS91464 fitted and needed a 1mm shim to fit in my T6.1

The out-drives and internals on the B6.1 diff do not cross over to the B6 diff.

Does fit straight in with out modding.

B5 ball diff fits but it needs to be shimmed up on both sides to stop the sideways movement. think it's 1 mm on each side.
I got an avid shim kit from MB and it works perfect.
5 washers each side between the diff and the bearing, then the height adjuster.

Really. I thought it was a bit of a let down compared to I the older one. Plastic cross pin and diff case while the older one had alloy parts as standard.

Exactly, lighter is better!

I've had no issues at all with either the plastic cross pin or the plastic cover. No leaks, smooth as silk, no sign of changing over a run.

Perfect as far as I'm concerned.
