10electric, Cullingworth booking in Fri 2nd Jan 15

Hi all.

Please use this thread to book in for racing on Friday.

Unfortunately we need to put a cap of 30 drivers in place to make sure we have enough time for 4 rounds and a final.

We should be able to have the heats sorted and we will want to start racing at bang on 7. So track building is the priority.

We need more volunteers to collectively help build / dismantle the track, this also applies at the end of the evening putting away the track. So please help, we get more racing in and get to go home at a reasonable time. Don't leave it to the same individuals to do the honours.

Please refrain from practicing until the track has been built.

The deadline for booking in is 9pm Thursday evening, heat listings will be compiled after this time. If you say you are coming then change your mind for what ever reason, you must let me know as this affects everyone else & the heats will not be evenly balanced,

Doors normally open at 6.30pm.

Someone will be there for 6:15 ish, so anyone wanting to HELP with the track can get there for then.

1/10th Buggies, indoors, carpet, slippy floor and jumps. Family friendly and good fun club level racing.

Address:
Cullingworth Village Hall
Station Road
Cullingworth
Bradford
BD13 5HN.

Take a look at my Optima. That will restore your faith in the belief that vintage isn't as quick

I can't come to play on Friday. Taking kids to pantomime. Oh no it isn't.

I was putting in faster laps with my vintage over the modern car.

I think it was a reissued gold tub RC10! The shell was mainly white and he was pitting near you Jim. It was really quick everywhere and I think John Price knows the fella.

It was Stephen Lawson. He's a quick lad.

what car was his vintage do you know?

NeilRalph77 31-12-2014 10:00 PM

Pank will confirm for definite, but I think it'll have been an original RC10 not a re release and with a 10double in it if I was listening correctly...

Oscar 31-12-2014 11:49 PM

it was an original RC10 with a few hop ups like better shocks and the longer arms. It was running brushed but with a lipo.
Steve has been racing 31 years, so he does know better than many what to do behind the sticks ;)
