If that's the finished car, they might have a problem with dirt ingression ...
|
are under trays still made for buggies?
certainly looks a nice car |
Yes undertrays are still widely used - but it's not clear wether this car will come with one or not. the other option is chassis film. This design doesn't have a great problem with dirt ingress since there isn't much that could be damaged with dirt and the majority of the drivetrain is sealed.
|
The problem with this lay out will be motor / pinion access. There isn't a clear shot of the motor mounting but I assume the cells would need removing and possibly require a special (ball hex) driver to make motor install / removal easier.
Hey whats that cavalieri motor, is it just a motor or a hint? :D (rumour mode engaged) |

I know from inside information that there is no problem getting the motor in and out with out removing batteries. But who takes out a motor with out removing batteries.;) ;) ;)
|
Lazy people? lol
good point though. The battery posts are the parts that really seem to get in the way on this design of car. |
I meant dirt ingression from the lack of body, by the way. Just my little joke.
Elliott. |
you are on a higher plane of comedy - afriad it went right over me :eh?::D
YEAH come on ad, where is the shell. |
The only thing I can see that I wouldnt like is that the inner camber links will not go lower than the top plate. On the BJ4 we had to lower the ball ends quite a bit to make it go. Other than that it looks fantastic. Cant wait to see it go round the track:D

Apparently vaseline over the lens gives you a soft focus.

There is a current theme of threads decending into smuttiness.... cool.
