Winter oOople Off-Road Series 2017/2018
 
We are pleased to announce the dates for the Winter 2017/2018 oOple Off Road Series; it will again run at the Chadderton Raceway.


RD1 - Sunday 8th October 2017
RD2 - Sunday 12th November 2017
RD3 - Sunday 10th December 2017
RD4 - Sunday 14th January 2018
RD5 - Sunday 18th February 2018

In addition there is a possible team endurance Race, Saturday 9th December 2017. This is to be confirmed!

The meetings will be held at Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Hunt Lane, Chadderton, 0L9 0LS.

There will be a Five round Series (Best 3 from 5 to count for points)

Classes will be,
Modified 2WD
Modified 4WD
New for 2017/18 - 10.5T 2WD

Maximum 7 heats 2WD and 5 heats of 4WD

We reserve the right to run more than 10 cars in a heat.

Tyres – In deference to our long standing sponsor you may use any Schumacher 1/10th off-road rubber tyre, nothing else.

Track prep is on Saturday for the single day meetings at a time to be confirmed, usually around 1pm - volunteers are needed to help.

There will be at free prize draw at the end of each meeting once the track has been cleared; drivers will need to be present and have helped pack away to claim any prizes. We will be watching, no hiding in the car park and coming in at the end, we know who you are!

Doors open at 7.30am on the Sunday meeting.

The aim is to finish racing by 4.30pm and be away by 5pm

Entrants must be BRCA members for 2017 and 2018 as you would for any club meeting - we do check!

The oOple team reserve the right to refuse entry

If you have already registered for this summers oOple Series meetings then you can just log in and look for the Orange “Booking In” Button in the top right of the Home page. You then need to click on the Red Button (oOoos 2017 Winter Series), this will take you to a list of all the meetings and you can choose how many you want to book in for. Please note you will be required to pay for your entries immediately via a Debit/Credit Card payment system. You will then receive an email from our payment system called Stripe with a receipt for your payment AND an email from oOoos confirming your entries and which dates and classes you are booked in for. (Please check your spam box in case this email lands there)

If you have not previously registered then you will need to look for an Orange Button in the Top Right Corner asking you to Register. You will be asked to create a username and password and you will be asked for your BRCA number and PT numbers relevant to the classes you want to race.

Once registered you can follow the procedure above.

If a class is full you won’t be able to buy a ticket so please register your reserve place interest by emailing admin@oooos.co.uk

Please note that your oOple Forum login details will not work on www.oooos.co.uk you will need to Register a new username and password if you are not already registered for OOOOS!

Please note there is no facility to take payment by PAYPAL. So please don’t send it!

two 10.5 motors in the for sale section if anyone is looking

If my lads are using 17.5 motors I assume they will go into the 10.5 category?

Hi, they can if they want to?

We are just finalising the booking in system and payment system so we should be able to go live with taking entries some time next week.

Keep an eye out on oOple for more info as soon as we get it!

Ideally they need to be in the same group as any other kids racing
