FAO Admin re security tokens?

Hi Admin

Trying to upload a few pics of a car to sell; had no problems previously selling things but am getting this error message?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Andrew

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I've had that before - normally when I've tried to upload too many pics in one go, or the files are too big.

Try uploading in smaller batches before you post the page.

Thanks Hog; won't upload even one at a time, just shows message

'file upload failed'

Only a standard iPhone pic so small file size?

Could be the file size is too big - resize them. There is some info when you go to attach pictures on the max file size allowed.

file size

The file size is most probably the cause as stated above. I find the easiest way is once the picture is uploaded to your pc then edit it, the edit will give you a re-size option in percentage or pixels, I find it easier go for pixels and then just change it to 2200 (which is the largest Oople allows) then no more problems.

The Security Token has only come up when I have tried to upload too many pictures at once (I find any more than 3 at a time it fails)

I think we all forget that our phones are now taking better quality pictures and so uploading them is dependant on the target allowances.

Hope this helps

The answers given are spot on.
Peeps don't seem to realise that most phones take pics of over 10 times the quality of 5 year old cameras.
The last camera I had was great - nice crisp, clear pics that could be blown up no problem. It had a 1 megapixel lens. My year old LG phone has a 13 megapixel lens...
