Trying to build a stock class DEX210 - could use advice
 

I've been messing with R/C for a long time and recently got the urge to build a buggy for racing. Decided to go with stock class since it doesn't look ridiculously fast, should be right up my alley. I got a new DEX210 kit off eBay last week and am doing research on the rest of the products I'll need to complete it. This is my first experience with brushless motors though so some stuff might not add up to you more experienced people. So far I want:

Radio: Futaba 3PL 3-Channel 2.4GHz FHSS w/ R2004GF 4-Channel Receiver
Motor: Associated Reedy Sonic 540 Mach 2 17.5T Spec
ESC: Team Orion Vortex R10 Stock ESC (90A, 2-3S)
Servo: Savox SB-2271SG

I still need some items on this list; pinion gear, LiPo batteries/charger. I still need guidance on these last pieces so I would really appreciate some advice from you guys. Let me know if anything needs to be changed or any other advice. Thanks a lot guys!

A 17.5 motor will be very slow.

The only thing I can point out from your list is the choice of servo, it's a high voltage servo.
Savox's SC-1257TG or SC-1258TG would be better suited to your application.

For stock gearing you'll want to pick up a 69t spur and pinions between 30-35t depending on the size of your track.
