Im more worried about friday as i have to go get our caravan from the farm with just my mum no dad and last time we went down there we met a tractor then a tree across the road. And the farm yard is very very tight. But hey it will be fun and so shoudl the weekend. Cant wait to race again.

Will be going up friday afternoon.
Set tent up then have a few beers. Hope the weather is going to get better.
Never raced at Bury Metro so have not got any set-up for the B4 but have been given one for the S4.
Any tips on getting the best from your car at this track and is it a car breaker.

All I can say is take your time around it. If you go too fast then yes it will bit you on the bum! Standard set up really for the B4, No 2 pistons in the front with 35 wt oil, blue springs(dry)silver(wet). Middle on the shock tower inner on the wishbone. No 1 pistons in the rear with 30wt oil and silver springs(dry)green(wet). Middle on the tower and inner on wishbone. Medium wheel base, cells back. Anti squat depends on how you like it. I used to run 0 but other people run 1 and maybe 2 if they are silly. Thats a good starter for you, hope it helps. Just remember, take your time.

Woody.
Thanks for the set-up and will take your speed tips into account.
Wish you all the best for the event.

hehe! would be nice if I could say me and actually mean it, besides, I'm not running 4wd otherwise I'd put my name up amongst them haha kidding.

I know putting the bulk up there is a tsd optimistic and maybe a little bias, but I reckon he could cause an upset at bury. watch this space I guess

super__dan 01-06-2007 08:07 AM

Neil or Danny 2wd, Woody if someone lends him an X6 for the weekend ;)

Tricky or Ellis 4wd, Woody if someone lends him an X5 for the weekend ;)

Bulk in A final both days, Tom C 4wd A final if he can stop crashing at the end of the straight!!!
