RC Clubs/tracks in or near Melbourne.

Hi.
I currently race 1/10th off-road (electric) in the UK. I just got a mate interested in the sport, but now he is moving to Melbourne to live, with his Aussie girlfriend in October.
I said i'd try and find out if there are any clubs/tracks that he could join/use.
If so where are they and what kind of surface do you guys run on. He has a B4.1 FT but wants a C4.1 when they come out. Or should he look at a different car that may go well out there.
Cheers for your help.
Neil

Neil,

There are basically 2 tracks. One east and one west. Track surface are similar. They are hard dusty surfaces. Best performing cars to date have been rear motor. Not many mid.

Knoxfield (Oconnor Rd) has a track too, but not a website (know as Knox RC).
Best to look at rctech site, then go to Au and you will find all the information you need
