The possibility has been there throughout the current season, all you need is over 5 cars to make a heat, same with bikes and micros........

I ran 4wd in the Mid West series this year.

The reason i haven't run the 4wd at the Southwest meetings is that there is not enough time to run in both classes on the same day and the first 10 meetings of the year were 2wd regionals. So this had to come first.

It would be nice to have 5 2wd and 5 4wd rounds of the Southwest Regionals with the best 3 rounds from each to count for the F license grade.

These rounds should be divided between Tiverton, Cornwall and Weston when its up and running.

The Question is whether enough people have or will buy a 4wd.

A few of us are planning to run 4wd in a couple of weeks at Tiverton

This may be a good time to judge the levels of interst.

The other point is it would be great to be able to race at a club meeting to try set ups without having to worry about championship points.

Hi there,

Anyone interested in 4wd, I have a nearly brand new DEX410 for sale with loads of spares, atomic carbon towers, tresrey hubs, pro painted shell etc... I can bring to the club if anyone is interested.

Cheers,
Mark

For those who missed the AGM it was decided that a new class needed 6 entrants fior a heat and it would cost and extra £1 to race in a second class so if there are enough people who want to you could run both!

jonathan may 24-11-2011 10:08 PM

is this for buggies only?

how about SC trucks :), if so i can count for 2 entrants here

manpossessed 11-05-2012 04:11 PM

If there are not enough trucks for a heat (min 6) we will try to include them in one of the other heats.

manpossessed 14-05-2012 07:15 PM

Good to see a heat of 4wd buggies on Sunday, hope you all enjoyed it!

Rich3672 28-07-2012 09:36 AM

4wd

Thanks so I guess they don't run 4wd!!! I have a 2wd I would like to have a go at 4wd !!!! I been offered a Durango 410 !!!

manpossessed 04-08-2012 08:23 PM

TRCCC will run 4wd's but we do not get a lot of 4wd racers so they have always been in a minority. If you have a 4wd and there aren't enough 4wd racers for a heat we will often run 4wd's in a 2wd heat.

Hope this helps,

Gary
