TORO RC ESC 160A hard reset?

Hi there,

I have a toro 160A competion ESC in my PR buggy which the previous own said they had changed certain settings.

the buggy came with a RC-100 wifi module - but this seems to be a battery module - rather than ESC as when I plug into the ESC and open the skylink software - it doesn't find and ESC present.

What are my options?

Thanks.

SkyRC Progbox is what you need. It's a program box for the track but you can also plug it into the PC and adjust settings via SkyRC USB Link.

Thanks - I will take a look.

So there is no manual way to reset the settings of this type of ESC without any attachement?

Not as far as I am aware.

The RC-100 wifi module will probably work with the TS160 too, I think they're the same modules, just the Overlander is like £10 cheaper. I've never used one personally so cant comment.

I did have a wireless module on a previous ESC and found it a little pointless as the mobile app wasnt great so never bothered after that.

thanks the RC-100 doesnt detect an ESC when its on - so wondering if its the dongle thing thats not working/set for ESC or I'm using it wrong

You're connecting it the same way as the manual: https://www.skyrc.com/files/85?open=1 ?

I have one and it only works with my old android phone (Sony e4g) now I have a Pixle 3 and can't find ESC if it's the same WiFi dongle I will check tomorrow
