For wet conditions you'll be using Ballistic Buggy greens on the rear... then its ur choice of either Schumacher spikes or Ballistic Buggy spikes on the front.

In the dry you'll be wanting Schumacher Yellows.

I ran ballistic green rear with Schumacher green fronts last night at Ludlow club meeting on very wet grass. Car went well, only 6 secs/2 secs behind another racer and my dad who were cheating using full spikes hehe

Thanks for the info guys!

Big G......i remember the good old days when full spikes were allowed!
I've still got a few sets dating back 17 years! they just don't wear out when your using them on wet grass!!

Generally it doesn't seem to puddle too much but does get a bit boggy.

The club will be on site today to cut the grass and check the venue, hopefully to get it into top shape for Sunday

If the event is to be called off, can a decision be made before the event so people don't have to drive down if local roads are flooded.

Even if this gets called off at the 11th hour, i.e. Sunday morning, could we have a decision Before hand. I have to arrange a 'babysitter' for when racing, so that's another cost I can save regardless of the fuel etc money saved.

Thank You :)

Hi All,

It is with regret that we have taken the decision, on the advice of the host club, that this weekend's regional at Hinckley is cancelled.

Following an inspection this afternoon the track is heavily waterlogged as well as the pit area. Rain continues to fall and is forecast to be heavy all weekend. In the interests of safety, we have called the meeting off.

As you know, Ledbury 2wd has been re-scheduled this year already and taken the reserve date, so this event will NOT BE RE-SCHEDULED. Meaning 2wd ch'ship in 2012 has become a best 2 scores from 4 rounds series. Apologies for those of you who were banking on this round, we cannot re-schedule this meeting as we have a ruling where the a reserve date is used and no other reschedule will take place.

Hope you all have a nice weekend doing whatever you decide to do instead - a quick reminder that EOS finals entry form is online now, not many of you have entered yet - please go online and get entered and pay me at the next opportunity.
