The first pictures of the Max3,so far we are very pleased with the outcome and looking forward to seeing what it goes like on track, this car belongs to Mat Dodd who will be testing the car over the coming weeks and were really pleased to have Mat running the car as we believe he will bring the best out of it.

Looking great! I was also looking into designing a mix between the 4 and the 2.

Curious how it will perform.

Did you modify the diff casing or reverse the motor?

jasonrcb 19-02-2014 08:35 PM

You can do either,Mat has modded the diff case on his and flipped the diff over

discothesnake 19-02-2014 08:38 PM

I modded the diff casing then discovered my speedo could reverse the motor!!!!

jasonrcb 19-02-2014 08:43 PM

Least it gives people the option if they dont have a speedo you can reverse the rotation on

Only thing I would do on the car is make some kind of side pods. Just to protect the electronics a bit more. I'm curious about how it drives.

jasonrcb 20-02-2014 09:12 AM

No need for side pods,we have undertrays for the range of cars if you feel the need to use one

skyaflake 20-02-2014 11:36 AM

Good alternative

As Jason said I modded the gear box case and flipped the diff which is easy enough to do with a Dremel.
I ran the car tonight for the first time at Oswestry which is a small low grip carpet track, the car lacked a little steering but got better as I made changes through the night.
The thing that impressed me the most was how safe and consistent the car was around the lap.
