Under 13's Membership is Free

To Get more children interested in radio controlled car racing, we decided that all Under 13's Race for FREE (BRCA Membership required). This means they'll still be a member of TRCCC they just dont need to pay the TRCCC membership

[UPDATE 2016]: U13 Race Fees will be £2. TRCCC 2016 Membership is Free. BRCA Membership is required - https://www.brca.org (There is an allowance of up to 3 meetings for newcomers only before this becomes a requirement).

Modelsport

MK racing
and
JE
Spares

To join the Tiverton club you can go to their website: http://www.trccc.co.uk/
or you can join on race day.

Great idea, just a further thought could be that they get their car inspected and set up help from an expert, would only take the pros a few minutes to spot obvious flaws
A local driver to me did a few practice laps with mine and sorted it right out:thumbsup:

Hi there,
I am a returning racer and am hoping to come along on Sunday, I am also bringing my lad and have just read this thread, he's only 6 but managed to have a great time and kept out of everyone's way last weekend at WORM racing his SCT, I'm assuming from reading this that he would be ok joining in this weekend if this is the case is he ok in the SCT class???

Cheers

They do have a kids race at Tivy but they run a mixture of different cars but they all run on the touring car track

Dave Dodd 07-05-2013 08:30 PM

Excellent idea :D

might be an idea at our club :)

That sounds good, not sure how the boy would like it, he's mad keen on off road and loved being part of the SCT race last weekend and the heats and doing what his Dad did.

If he enjoy the off road I can't see why he can't race with the big boys they have to learn sometime!!

Alan - South West RC 07-05-2013 09:28 PM

South West RC have a trackside shop and we attend every TRCCC and WORM event. You will find us at www.southwestrc.co.uk

Back on topic and what a great idea this is

lardy37 07-05-2013 09:37 PM

They are proper timed races with qualifying and finals and the only reason I said he would be on tc track with other kids is due to the fact that there isn't normally enough trucks for a heat if there was he could run on off road track with everyone else

Quite right Alan,

TRCCC are lucky enough to be supported by South West RC Model Shop and Action Model Centre. Both of these are trackside on race days and as they support us it would be great if we can support them.

Thanks guys,

Gary

We take our sct everytime to tivvy but for some reason no one else brings theirs would be great if more people raced like worm. Trucks are good to watch and fun for newcomers so come on people lets get a heat together.

I know I'm newcomer to off road but I second that, SCT racing seems to be an ideal class for some fun racing and my lad loved it last weekend at WORM, to be honest I almost wished I had bought one myself.
