17th June Racing?

who's racing this week?

Belsten 13-06-2011 07:01 PM

not me, nationalising

hit5005 13-06-2011 07:06 PM

ill be there chris definatley micro. maybe 4wd if not it will be 2wd. can some one tell me how to adjust my b44 sliper off its wheeling!!!!!

peetbee 13-06-2011 07:29 PM

I won't be there either!

Huw try this:
To adjust the slipper, remove the body and
insert a 2mm (or 5/64”) hex wrench through the center of the top deck (or through the bottom slot in the chassis).
Then, grab both of the rear wheels and rotate forwards to tighten and backwards to loosen. As you spin the wheels,
you’ll feel the motor click every ¼ of a wheel revolution. At the track, tighten or loosen the nut in 2 click increments until
you hear only a faint slipping sound for 1-2 feet on takeoffs.

Shamelessly stolen from the manual at:

I'll be there, 2 or 4wd not sure yet

sunbeam 13-06-2011 09:23 PM

Alisha and I will be there, 2WD.

Anybody got some blue/silver springs for Alisha's B4.1 ? Time to start sorting it out for her I think

brizzlemark 13-06-2011 09:39 PM

I'll be there. 2wd for me (oh and a PT will be good). Thanks.

evilbert 13-06-2011 11:01 PM

I'll be there, hopefully awake enough to concentrate for longer than 2 mins at a time so I can finish a race without crashing every 3 corners

blue_pinky 13-06-2011 11:28 PM

I'm nationalising...play nicely while Pete and I aren't there!!!

And please remember the noise rules

Balders 13-06-2011 11:43 PM

me me me I'm coming to play this week! 4wd please...

who's doing the track and whos getting the keys?

evilbert 14-06-2011 12:42 PM

i will not be that early, 7-7:30 probably due to work...

chris-on-wheels 14-06-2011 01:39 PM

As Andy and Pete are not going to be here this week. We need as many people at the club early. (6:30) to help get everything out and get the track built. If everyone wants to get 3 rounds plus a Final round in, the track needs to be built by 7:50 so we get started for 8:00. The earlier we start the more races we can get in.

We Also need as much help at the end of the night to help pack away. Again, the more people we have to pack away the more races we can get in. Every bit of help counts.

Best I can hope for is 7 o clock. Though more likely quarter past. Anyone available to get the keys at 6.30?

millzy 15-06-2011 09:25 AM

I could get there before 7- but cant get the keys

Happy to do the track/Help any one with a good Andy track ( personally if it was me I would replicate the track he made 2 weeks ago

or the one Mike made a few months back with the rostrum on the other side of the track.??

Balders 15-06-2011 10:26 AM

I'm on a training course in Bristol all this week so on friday have to get back from Bristol to cardiff then back to Caldi so would be pushing it to be there at before 7 let alone pick up the keys...

I've never picked the keys up before so am not sure where to go to get them either...

chris-on-wheels 15-06-2011 11:25 AM

So shall we aim to get to club for 7:00. If the keypersons house is wheelchair friendly (I DON'T DO STEPS) I'll go and pick them up no problem? But i've never been there so I'll need address?

blue_pinky 15-06-2011 12:59 PM

Mike, take your RC stuff to Bristol with you? Go racing on your way home? Or you being transported over there?

Anyone who can be there early can get the keys, PM pete or me for details!

Balders 15-06-2011 01:05 PM

that was my plan but I have to drop the hire car back to work before hand... The hire company would be a bit upset if i tried to drop it back at midnight.. :(

evilbert 15-06-2011 06:51 PM

blimey this is a bad week for early birds.

I'll get the keys, i've done it before and i will do my best to be there around 6:30-7 traffic permitting.

If for any reason i get held up in traffic (the M4 is not very predictable on a friday night) can someone pm me their mobile number so i can text them if i am going to be late?

Also as you dont do anything on a friday at work andy can you pm/email me a track design :)
