paulc 26-11-2012 09:19 PM

DeMogoobra 26-11-2012 09:37 PM

There will be pics soon of course....

But another thread about the same car??? The Xray forum is not that well filled so it is not even hard to find the name Xb4 on the first and only page.

I agree. They're wanting people to pay deposits on placing orders but there is no images of the car on any scale? Ridiculous.

What's the big secret? Lets see it!!!

Pictures soon.. they'll have to be if it's getting released this weekend lol

And yet I know two people who've preordered!

Xray have a decent rep from TC's and nitros, but this buggy is a total unknown right now so no way I'd part with money without at least a few pictures. For all we know it might have a drivetrain made entirely of cream cheese!

That said - kudos to Xray for the secrecy. How many big releases have been kept this well under wraps until launch day?

I have to say i cant wait to see the new car! Xrays' quality is always second to none and their 1/10th scale after seeing videos on youtube of it running the car looks so settled and easy to drive...

I have to say i'm one of the lucky ones who have been guaranteed one of the first cars and i cant wait to see it. Xray have done a superb job of keeping it so secretive, there are so many ways of things leaking to the public i have to say hats off to them and i wouldn't say its a bad thing everything is so quiet.

In my mind this shows this car will be a new revolution in 1/10th scale with new features that other cars can only copy. This could be the next 'Durango' themed car where its released and it catches on straight away with features that will make the car stand out from the rest and it may steal some of the Durango die hards (myself included)

3 words describe my feelings for this car

CAN NOT WAIT!!!

And your point being??

jo90 27-11-2012 08:47 AM

Pictures and Spec released this weekend, on Monday they release the update version called the XB4'13, and by Xmas you will have the even newer version the XB4'fkdyourpocketofmoneyagainohyehhh :p

Given it's Xray the build quality shuold be excellent, but given this car hasn't shown it's pace much on the international stage i'd be hesitant placing money even if i was an Xray fan

That body shell looks Fugly !

Hpi_guy 30-11-2012 07:53 AM

Looks like durango fitment wheels

OneKiwi 30-11-2012 11:01 AM

THat would be awesome if they did something to be able to use other brand wheels or add your own hex to use either 14/12/10 mm hexes.

Touring cars and the 1/8th have universal hexes... nice maybe you get a couple of options in the kit

But yes they look like TD wheels... me like

#XR365350 - ALU WHEEL HUB 14MM (2)
#XR365351 - ALU WHEEL HUB 14MM - OFFSET "-0.75MM" (2)
#XR365352 - ALU WHEEL HUB 14MM - OFFSET "+0.75MM" (2)

To those asking metal or cf, The car has a narrow metal chassis plate with plastic side skirts, it is basically a shrunken down version of the X-ray xb9 nitro buggy with b44 layout.
