DNX408T

November 24, 2010
Team Durango truggy – it’s official DNX408T project is go.

There has been much speculation if we will make a truggy version of the DNX408, but now it’s official, we will. The demand from the racers out there meant that we had no choice.

What demand?

HyperFX 28-11-2010 09:55 AM

I demand the release of the DEX210 before any truggy, even if it's a TD!

Same for me, also waiting for DEX210......

100% agreed. Im in need of a 2wd and dont even know whether I should wait for the new 210 or just get a cougar or rb5. I need to run two classes and I dont want to wait till next christmas, anyone know when the estimated release date is?

What ever happened to the DEX210? Weren't there photos and info about it when the DEX410 came out.

Guys, as much as I'd like to see the 2wd it's all a matter of money I'm afraid, let me try and explain......

The 8th was apparently significantly far on in its development.
There is a lot of money in 8th.

So.... get the 8th car finished.

The truggy, whatever way you look at it, will be similar to the 8th buggy and share many parts too I'd expect, so..... finish buggy - then design a few parts to make a truggy.

Bingo, two cars in a big market in a short~ish time. It's how all engineering works.

Hopefully it will give them more money to develop the 2wd though

Yes, but they had photos and vids of the DEX210 out for quite awhile. Does this mean that testing didn't go to plan?

Truggies are just a bigger more stable buggy. SCT's seem to be coming the future of R/C. Im surprised the nitro class hasn't started up yet.

Even though I drive for Durango, I know nothing official but it is probably one or a combination of the following:
  • There is a lot of money in the 8th market globally.
  • The 8th car was more advanced than the 2wd.
  • There is a lot of money in the 8th market globally.
  • I'm stuggling for something to type here.
  • There is a lot of money in the 8th market globally.

You see my point? :)

The 2wd is still progressing though, even though you don't see any new pictures or videos ;)
