B4 Body

Hey complete noob when it comes to buggies! Getting a B4 roller, but comes with no shell. Crowd pleazer shells seem to be the most popular of the shells i've seen for them, is there any real reason for this aerodynamics wise or is it just the look? I heard somewhere that shell choice can affect how well these things fly off ramps, any thoughts?

The aerodynamics of the shell probably do make a difference, but to the vast majority of drivers it would be so insignificant it might as well not be there. The one thing I would suggest is a large (7") rear wing. These not only look much cooler than std ones, but do actually aid stability in the air.....

possibly

yeah same as above really, i raced touring cars for years and the shape and style of body sometimes made all the difference

but in buggies it makes little or no difference, definately get a big wing tho, will help put some power down with it being 2wd

i even use a front wing now too, suits my driving style better

experiment and see what suits u best but dont worry bout the body

the Proline crowd pleaza shell has bigger side-pods and can fit bigger speedo's under it.

Proline now do a wing pack so you can get wings of various sizes and also front wings too, worth looking at that.
