Date change due to a clash.
The Notts meeting on the 20th of January is now moved to
the 27th of January because of the Exloo international in Holland.

The Nook is looking well for the kick off next Sunday :)

First meeting tomorrow,weather is given as dry but a bit cold,so wrap up warm.

It was a great days racing,the weather was kind again,good turn out and lots of smiling faces.I am looking forward to the next one at Notts :)

2nd one of the series and the 1st one at the superb Notts n Derby track
this Sunday,there should be plenty of large scale off road petrol cars with a good turn out of 1/8 nitro there too.

It should be another good day (fingers crossed) i have even made some new warning signs for jimmy to photograph ;)
Don`t forget,there is a pub(with a real fire) on site,so please do come along for a pint and watch the racing :) or even bring your 1/5 and 1/6 or 1/8 off road stinkwheels and book in.

Those large scales are beasts! I seriously considered getting one a while back but there is absolutely nowhere to run them (club wise) in the NW that is within reasonable distance. Looks like a good track mate, nice vid too.;)

update: Team 5hite(E final specialists) have beeen at the track all day digging the drainage ditches out a bit to get rid of some of the water.

Another top day was had,the weather was very kind really,it started off with a bit of blue sky and sunshine,then went a bit drizzly around lunchtime and then dryed up a treat,ending off with a nice sunset :D

I went down yesterday for a round and I was suprised on how good the LARGE scale was. I will defo have to have a go!

Nice one,you would be made welcome and there is plenty of help on tap(if you need/want it).

R4 at Notts today 30th December 07,weather is top and the cafe is open for bacon buttys and tea :cool:
J26 on M1 head for Eastwood after about 1.5-2 miles there is a small slip road off duel carrigeway,signed for treatment works.track is just there on right hand side.
Come and have a look if your not doing owt :)

Did anyone go to Notts for a look?

The Nook website is down again,they forgot to send us the bill and just cut the site off again(like last year)
It will be back on line ASAP.
There IS another W-interclub day at The Nook next Sunday.
