1/8 Electric Buggy Racing on Astroturf - Wear Seen?
 

Can someone provide some insight into the wear you see from running 1/8 electric buggies on Astroturf versus 1/10 scale stuff?

Is it something that is just night and day difference in the amount of track wear / damage, etc.

Biggest thing I've seen is the turf moving around. 8th scales can generate some serious traction. I'd guess wear will be faster, but we tend to use second hand turf. So its fairly cheap and knackered when we start!
