Carisma GTB/GT14B

Could anyone kindly give me some advice.

I run an events company and looking at using the GTB/GT14B PRO Cars for both indoor/outdoor. We use a mix of 1/10th and 1/18th but now want a set scale across the board.

I need these to not go fast lol as generally they get smashed about!

What Batteries, ESC and motor combination is best for these scale cars (without breaking the bank, remember these are used by people who generally cat tell their head from their ass when it comes to RC cars - much like me ;) )

I have looked at the Hobbyking 18th scale Esc and there small brushless motors but I guess I need the ability to turn the ESC down to a mere crawl...

Ive also noticed that batteries also seem a bit of an issue. I cant find anything on the t'interweb showing the dims for the car, servos, esc and for batteries (bloody hate saddle so anything to avoid using those would be ace!)

Long winded and many queries, but any help appreciated

I think the charisma pro car uses the saddle packs.and they are hard to find and expensive if you do find them.....hence why the charisma pro buggy is only $49 on the charisma site...plus shipping....:)

Carisma GTB

Hi
The Carisma GTB is a solid car only real issue may be stripping belts but if serviced and set correctly they are fine.
these lipo's for as little as £15, the are great and keep the car smooth and reasonably slow until you wind it up when required.
they are £85 for the roller and electrics can be bought for around £60 for esc, motor & servo. These will all be cheap but reasonable electrics nothing great.

Speak to Paul Knight at Trackside spares, he is a wealth of advice as well as getting you running at the right price.

Good luck

Do you have a link for the Lipo's?

Lettuce know what esc/motor/servo combo you end up going for!

If you buy lipos for amateurs to use at shows remember to time each car individually or set lipo cut off on the esc's, so cells don't go below 3v per cell, 6v per pack or buy nimh batteries that don't get damaged if they go flat, the ones that came with the mini 8ight fit and you'll find a few on that auction site.

I started with Losi mini 8's. decided to go for smaller cars and track in the end.
