whats your favourite 1/10th buggy

I started racing again after giving up in 1990 started with a top class fs lazer set up and had shed loads of cars in a year but up to now my favourite is the b4 I have at the moment... I have enjoyed driving this car more then any other I have owned I honestly can not tell you why but I think its just an amazing car out of the box and I only paid 60 quid off here for it:thumbsup:

b4

for me it has to be the b4,even though its a rear motor and a pretty old design from what you see today,it's an amazing car.
not very strong but a well balanced, agile buggy.

Kyosho optima mid it was revolutionary, but I'm older than most so don't think many will remember it:blush::blush::blush:

Have to say trf511, I got one of the 1st ones and still love it now:) the trf501x was good too but not quite as agile....

I still think the Top Force Evo is one of the best looking car's i've ever had. I still have it and raced it a few times last year. But i have a soft spot for the Avante as it was draw dropping when realised.

jK

I good call but the cat xls was much much faster:thumbsup:

Skelbo 28-03-2012 09:31 PM

The Cat 2000 served me well back around 1992/93. Made a couple of Radio Race Car national A-finals with that, so it must have been my best.

well only ever done proper racing with my b4.1 but most memorable when younger was my tamiya frog, spent hours and hours sat in the local car park with it

years ago.

well, when i left the game 22 years ago, i was a Cat XLS man, LOVED it, had the Optima mids, yokomo's, kyoshos etc. but the cat just did it all and worked for me. and 22 years later, it does it again!

but i have to say schumacher just do it for me in every way......... except for the lack of a SC........

LOVE my SC, Hong Nor, its awsome. but may be upgrading to something a bit better some time soon..

My rc10 worlds edition,no flimsy plastic on that bad boy...built to survive and win...still got mine and raced it s few times against b4's and losi xxx's and it beat them....
Just so simple and easy to drive, nylon components and alloy chassis carbon shock mounts just a shame team associated won't rerelease it...

I had a Kyosho Optima Mid Custom Special many moons ago, was a pretty good car too.

JohnM 29-03-2012 06:11 AM

Not sure I can pick just one, it's a toss up between the Losi XX4, my Yokomo BX, and the Durango DEX410 I have now, all have been awesome:thumbsup:

gainsy 29-03-2012 06:44 AM

Optima mid lwb, cat xls & lazer zx5-fs2 would be my top 3

chrispattinson 29-03-2012 07:00 AM

I agree with Pugs, TRF511. Well balanced buggy, strong, reliable, smooth, fast and responsive to both setup changes and driver inputs. It doesn't look to bad either
