The Brett Davis Vintage GP

The Brett Davis Vintage GP is in memory of a much loved fellow racer who had a real passion for the vintage RC buggies of the 1970ís and 80ís and onwards. Raising money for the John Taylor Hospice, Brettís chosen charity, this indoor off-road vintage buggy race day should hopefully become an annual mid-winter fixture for vintage racing enthusiasts. With awards up for grabs but the emphasis very much on fun, we hope the Brett Davis Vintage GP will do our late friend proud. It's not compulsory but entrants are requested to run yellow bodies and red wheels if they can. Those are the colours of Brum from the popular BBC kids show. Brett used to drive Brum.
Buggy classes:

Absolutely awesome event!

£1,855.46 was raised for the John Taylor Hospice. Thank you to the entrants, the club and the companies who donated to help us reach such a fantastic total.

A massive thank you to Stephen, Graeme, James, Karl and all at Dudley for giving all of the entrants a terrific day of vintage racing at this sell out event.

Having Kris Kennedy Jr on the mic was brilliant and BRUM himself even made an appearance. All of the amazing photos can be found on the Iconic RC and Dudley Model Car Club facebook groups.

Looking forward to the 2018 Brett Davis Vintage GP!

Brett, we all did you proud mate.
