The biggest problem would be with support. In the early 2000's CEN released the Fun Factor cars which were well received but not particularly well supported by Ripmax. The CEN company then released the Genesis monster truck which, although looking great, was not well thought out and as such did damage to the company's reputation. The lack of spares and continued lack of distributor support pretty much killed the brand off in the UK. They do have a following on mainland Europe and have always done ok in the US but here they just didn't get it right.
If you are looking at buying one of their cars, be aware that you will almost certainly be the only one racing or bashing the CEN truck and will have to hunt around for spares and possibly order from abroad.
I have one of the Fun Factors from 2002 but there are precious few outlets for them now. Slough Models have some parts in as do a few others.
Which car were you looking at?

In all honesty I love mine as I learnt so much from it. I did have to battle through a host of issues but as I say it taught me alot.
I could not recommend them though. If you are looking for a bashing truck just get a Savage and enjoy reliability, massive spares availability and a world of aftermarket parts. In other words, all the things the CEN cannot offer. ;)
