what are the moulds made of? certainly not normal plaster is it?

mrspeedy 12-01-2011 12:17 PM

It's not any kind of plaster :p They're made from high quality aluminium filled epoxy resin. It's quite an expensive material to use for moulds, but will produce a much better finish than say plaster, mdf or modelling board.

It also looks lush when it's polished :)

estimated production date and price? looks nice

were also going to need one for the longer sv chassis, something to work on:thumbsup:

jeffrey 13-01-2011 07:07 AM

normally not, the body still fit the longer chassis.
that's what a team driver told me and he was using the new chassis
grtz

mrspeedy 15-01-2011 08:49 PM

Ummm ... good question ...

probaly no more than £18.50 :)

Danosborne6661 15-01-2011 11:38 PM

By that he means £3.50 for postage, not £18.50 for postage ;)
