Illuzion Bodyshells & LRP Sphere TC

Does anybody run an LRP Sphere TC Brushless Speedo under any of the jconcepts illuzion scoopless, TQ or high flow B4 bodyshells?

Just wondering if it will fit :eh?:

I don't run the fan on my sphere TC in 2WD, its not needed.

some don't even both running the heatsink on the 2007 comp

(for the record, the fan does not come off the sphere TC)

and I have run it for 20 minutes non-stop with a 5.5 sintered motor - still cool.

Did you cut the fan off?

it screws on doesn't it?

do you mean the wires?

actually, I am cheating, mine is a sphere 2007 comp, the top plate removed and the TC style heat-sink thermal 'glued' onto the fets directly. (so a proper TC is even less likely to over-heat)

but if you do remove the fan, heat-shrink the wires up so they can't cause problems, if you want to wire a fan back onto it, wired it directly to the +ve and -ve of the speedo, it will run faster then.

Yes the wires. Ill do that then, i didn't think i needed the TC to be honist, but the difference in price isn't much. At least the body should fit well now that orange brick is getting removed.
