This enough to start a build?

Well I thought it'd be rude to not use this shock tower in a build, and so begins the longest build thread whilst I hunt for parts! kinda the bit I enjoy though!

All great journeys start with one step :)

You can get a screw kit from Screws4rc or there’s a place on eBay in Germany that do one too.
I think I’ve got a spare 94 chassis I’ll have to have a dig and see what I can spare but I’m all honesty you’ll be better trying to find a car and using it as a spare

Reminds me of a johnny cash classic

I got it one piece at a time

Good luck with the project although in all honesty welshy is right look for a more complete starting point

Justin's bang on. A lot of easy parts to find that are being repro'd...chassis, shock mounts etc... but you'll get stuck on things like driveshafts, front bulk head parts, and suspension arms, and when they do come up they are not cheap!

Look for a complete one and save your shock tower for spares

You’ll not get a 94 chassis from Fiberlitye it’s the only one they don’t make! This is why I like to keep spares

I must admit until researching a little more, I didn't realize just how rare these cars were and parts are!

Having said that I do like a challenge.......which is good!

So calling out to anyone who has some WCS parts for sale, get in touch.

@Peakey - what is the kick up on those chassis, 10-12 degrees?

So which yoke is that off for the uninitiated?

timmy 09-03-2018 11:33 AM

Rear shock tower from a YZ10 '94

I think it’s 20 but not 100% on that
