Mi1v2 or Hobao h4?

Hi folks.
As per the title.

There's around £80 difference between these two.

Schumacher seem to have the pedigree but hobao does look nice.

Hobao being the more expensive which may indicate higher quality.

Anybody had experience of these two to help me with my choice?

Cheers.

Rob.

The Mission1 is a good "My First Race car" and is certainly very competitive at club level.
Parts are easy and quick to source (Schumacher usually ship same/next day 1st class) although in an entire season we didn't have a single breakage.
In all honesty I prefer the driving characteristics of the Mi1 over the 5

Well Im running a couple of hopped up Tammy TT02s at the moment and they're horrible. We're lucky to get through a race without something dropping off, coming unscrewed, breaking or malfunctioning seemingly at whim.

Im fed up with this finally and shortlisted one of the above two.

I just wondered whether anybody has prior with either or both preferably.

The H4 doesnt seem like a 'my first race car' and this isnt my first race car, but it's my first club level decent car having gone as far as I can (and want to) with these awful TT02s...

i am a schumacher fan run the mi5 getting he mi5 evo and out of the two you want i go for the h4 as the mi1v2 is a old car updated (but good) were the h4 is made for todays high end racing

I run an h4 and love it, ita a beautiful handling car. The first batch had some durability issues but hobao soon sorted them out and the car will now stand up to some fairly hefty impacts. Mi1v2 aint a bad car but personally id go for the h4. Modelsport have the h4 at £199 and demon carry most of the common spares

The Hobao looks good but personally I would by a used Xray T3 12 or T4, not indestructable but close and still competitive

I'm not into second hand TBH.

Whilst I respect there are a lot of good racers out there who have spent a lot of money on their cars and have simply moved on it's not for me...

H4 looks like a runner then...

I've seen both cars running at the track, and both perform amazingly well for their price.

The H4 looks very strong now; I've seen them hit the boards at the end of the straight (flat out) and drive straight off. It's also a bit closer to a top spec TC in terms of layout and design.

I think you'll be happy either way though.

I would go for the H4 - £80 more but you easily get more than £80 in better car.

Spares are cheap too and can be sourced from any model shop that has an account CML distribution
