CNC cutting aluminium
 

Hi All,

I am currently working on an alloy chassis design for my TC. I will have the Cad file but there is no way that I can cut it myself. It will not just need cutting, it would also want some of the surface pocketed (To allow the motor to sit low).

Does anybody know of somewhere that can do it?

I have a milling machine and can cut the recesses if you want.

What are the overall dimensions of the chassis and what material are you looking to use?



Obtaining chassis sized bits of 7075T6 is just about impossible.




I have done such work but the material is the stumbling block.
