BLITZ brushless

Hi guys I'm going to start racing at Broxtowe this Friday with my blitz, I'm currently running a firestom 15T. After speaking to a few people at your club they say a 10.5 / 10 T brushless is the way to go just wondered what everybody else's thoughts were and if anyone had a combo for sale that would be suitable....cheers jimmy

Hi James.

Personally I wouldn't go for any 10t motor. They look poor. Most of them have very pretty radiotors but although its 540 size, the radiator takes lots of space, it means that there is much less room for rotor/magnet and wounds, which consequently make it weaker than standard 10.5t.

As a newbie (and tightass :D ) I went for Losi combo. Bought used one from eBay and Im extremely happy with it. Although the motor packed up after 7 months racing (my fault, tried to set a clutch in 'my' way  ), speedo still goes strong!

Here is what I found. It may be of use for you:

In sale section there is also LRP x12 10.5t if you have got more pennies to spare.

Or the best option is to ask Club members on one of the meetings. We are happy to help.

Welcome to the Club!

yep most run a 10.5 as the track is normally quite twisty,if your feeling brave you could use a 8.5
