Schumacher customer service

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but would like to thank Robin Schumacher for the replacement shock body he sent me.
I happened to mention to him that I had an issue with a front shock body not been machined correctly, the internal bore tapered at the very bottom so the piston would stop 2/3 mm from the bottom. I only noticed it as the front shock collars were at different heights, god knows how I didn’t spot it sooner.
It wasn’t a big issue for me as it was on my spare car. I wasn’t expecting a replacement as the car only gets used in emergencies but thought I’d mention it just in case this wasn’t a one off issue.
Less than a week later I received a package from Schumacher with a brand new set of shock body’s.
Great customer service from a great British company. One very happy customer.

I agree, can't fault the service I've had from Schumacher and would recommend them 100% to others.

Quick

I’ve always been surprised at how quick they get things to you too, next day on the last few things I ordered.

That comment could irritate me somehow. I bought a brand new CAT3000 a long time ago... with two different degree rear hub carrier. Did not build it straight ahead, and the shop where I bought it went out of business.

So I wrote Schumacher. While the parts still in stock, the guy never tried to solve the problem.

Different situation, different country... maybe.

Anyway, the car is on the shelf and I bought some more toys... but no Schumacher.

;)
