when is too much too much?

My question is when is too much too much? At the moment I only have 5 1/10th scale buggies and a kyosho tki3 nitro. The Mrs seems to rekon this is excessive. Please tell me other people have far more excessive collections. Must admit though, I am planning on adding to mine. BTW how go I upload pics to show some of my buggies?

As a word of warning I don't own any pristine shelf queens a few nice cars but nothing ultra rare or valuable
I'm a senior driver with a talented son driver Mitch Fiddling I'm lucky enough to enjoy my hobby with him I'm very lucky he doesn't mind me cramping his style by tagging along with him
I have had great fun in this hobby for around 25 years long may it continue

When I got to about 15 cars my missus stopped asking anymore. She just thinks that they are breeding in the garage. I have told her they are all appreciating classics and therefore an investment.

I'm at 25 and counting now!

With the addition of a swb Cat and a PB Mini Mustang, that will make 10. And unless something really special comes along... that's enough for me. I've given up on keeping my shelfers pristine. They need to be used and enjoyed :D

fidspeed 08-03-2018 09:42 PM

Had a quick reckon with pen and paper and old grey matter
I ran out of grey cells at 105 vehicles😀😀😀😀 sure i have missed one one or two though

Dave n mitch joint collection

Peakey 08-03-2018 10:40 PM

I’ve only got about 30 ish I think and my Mrs has also given up she just looks and says what have I bought now

daz75 08-03-2018 10:45 PM

Does anyone tell their wives how much some.of these things cost?

Peakey 08-03-2018 11:24 PM

No but they always find out :lol:

fidspeed 09-03-2018 06:31 AM

It's a trade off for me
I don't drink or smoke not interested in football or have any other hobbies so I spend my allowance on toy car stuff
As mentioned in emergency it's a little cash fund if I got 20 quid for each item it would fetch a few quid
If necessary the majority could go also my wife has been a stay at home mum for 20 years I threaten her I'll make her get a job :D:D

Regards dave
