Thanks!

Thanks for a great winter series guys!
Really enjoyed the racing throughout and nice to see the juniors coming along so well.
I'd like to say a special thanks to the catering ladies without whom, many a racers belly would be empty, and also to moss models for being on hand to help out when stuff broke.

And heap big thanks to Paul and Mike for running the series so smoothly and providing some cracking good days of racing.
Will defo be back next winter!

Well done to all the winners and in particular Chris Pattinson for his overall series wins!
Looking forward to see'ing if anybody can take his crown next winter.

Well said, great fun my first competition ever and really enjoyed it.
Started racing last October so this has been a great beginning for me.
Looking forward to more if they run as nicely as this.

Thanks everyone for making Sunday interesting again.

Series

Yes it's been good , the track layout was great and it should of been that way for the full event , shame it was spoilt by to many jumps , but that's just my opinion .

Jedward 23-03-2014 07:17 PM

Great venue, organisation, racing and of course catering. Thanks to all involved for an excellent Winter series!

Thanks for a great winter series and thanks for making all the junior drivers feel so welcome its great to see so many getting involved. Track was loads better the way it was today

nobby 23-03-2014 07:42 PM

Hi all I would just like to echo everything that's been said (apart from to many jumps:p )

Really enjoyed how the track was today.
Thanks to everyone that raced over the 6 rounds of the series.
I was very impressed with the attitude of all racers that raced.

Now it's time to go race outdoors

Just to let you all know that I managed to sell all of the wrist bands that I had, and we made £97.50 for Luke.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Every little helps.

chrispattinson 23-03-2014 08:31 PM

Thanks to all who made this series happen, from the track builders to the superstars Paul and Mike.
All of the juniors deserved their participation trophy. Everyone of them can be proud of the laps they turned over the past 6 rounds. I took the time to watch all the juniors racing, and it was evident their were great improvements and achievements. From round 1 through to now, it's good to see a realisation that crashing less is more important than going fast between crashes.
Today's layout was much better, I really enjoyed it, especially the double jump in front of the rostrum. :woot:
One last thing. .... I hope all involved look forward to some outdoor racing, at Dynamix and the regionals. ... It's really good fun.

Thanks again, Chris.

Big thanks from the Bowmans! we've had a great time, Archie is over the moon with his trophy, he fell asleep with it in his hands tonight! Very well organised series and the encouragement for the kids is fantastic!. Cant wait for the next one!

End of series notes

Where do I start well here goes

On behalf of Benfield Radio control car club, and I personally would like to thank each and every participant including the club members for helping with setting up on a Saturday and clearing away on the Sunday, and both Jason and Alex for supporting with the shop MOSS MODELS.

The series has brought together young driver’s (5 years old) the superstars and next generation to older more mature drivers 60+ years young (the old timers), Both local drivers and guys who have travelled from far and wide (Dundee + York ECT.). Some have attended 1 round and others have hopefully enjoyed all 5. Making the sacrifice of the long journeys and early mornings to support the events and making the series such a success.

I personally have received a lot of feedback from both experienced drivers and non-participant’s regarding the development and the improvement of drivers throughout the series, its rewording to hear and be part of. I feel the series has been a real positive for the sport / hobby in the north east.

In regards to the winners / runners up / improvers, I have posted the finals series points listing below for all to see.

Regards
Paul Carr

I would also like to thank everyone for their support.

It takes a fair bit of time and money coming up there with all the gear and it was much appreciated to have all your support and custom.

Many thanks to Mike and Paul as well for running a great series. Sorry to Paul for my sons rather dubious last corner overtake:) Not very fair but that's what you do when your 11 years old!

Winter series

I wouldn't worry. Paul's the most dubious overtaker out there.
