RC10 Team. I'm still surprised by how capable it remains even today. Not bad for a car built 20 years ago, and was a mid-life update of a car from 1985!

My losi xx kinwald edtion best car i had.

Losi XX for me too (although I couldn't afford the KW version), suprised this car has not been mentioned before, was so easy to drive & set-up compared to 2wds that had gone before it, I was quite dissapointed when I replaced my XX for a XXX around 1999 - the new car seemed to keep the Double X's stability but had lost some sharpness from the steering - i'm sure a XX in the right hands could still do well against the modern stuff... even at a high level!

Hot Bodies D4 suited me really well, just a shame they are obsolete now. i've had a few of them and they worked well with my aggressive driving style.

I have never owned either but the ultimate buggys have to be an Optima Mid turbo or Avante  they were both so ahead of their time

I got to agree with you on that one, probably had my best results with mine

Also the RC10 Team was a brilliant car too

Skelbo 29-03-2012 06:40 PM

Still got my RC10 Team Car in the shed. Only raced it a few times in 93/4 before I went off rallying. Would still be decent if i got it up and running.

hotrodchris 29-03-2012 07:42 PM

love my DEX210!

tomy intruder was an awesome car back in the early nineties had some great results with it, was easy to set up, and was quite rare even at the time, loved beating some of the established manufacturers with a tomy,

alan p 29-03-2012 08:51 PM

PB Mini Mustang back in the day  with the two speed set up it was way fast but no brakes but still better the the XLS Cat any day

Now it has to be my B44

dodgydiy 29-03-2012 08:58 PM

i have to go for two all time favourites, the pb maxima and the original kyosho optima with a belt drive conversion

A guy called Mike littlewood ran one at our local club back in the day and it was good, had all the alloy wishbones on it and hubs etc....the alloy bits weren't made by tomy from what i can remember:)

Got one in the cellar, with some alloy bits too, but darent run it now in case it breaks a belt!

Xx4 is my favourite, watching one in the right hands, they are brilliant and set the trend for 4wd geometry

yeah i wouldn't risk running it just in case  I could never get away with my xx4, but would agree in the right hands it was awesome, I remember seeing local lad D.Snee with his and was great to watch in A finals:)

PB Mustang - nearly forgot that one.

Slightly off topic, but do you remember the PB Sizzler 1/10th circuit car? It had de-dion 5 linked rear suspension. I had one in the very early days of 1/10th circuit a few years before touring cars became popular. Of course the early touring cars were just lowered and foam-tyred 1/10th off roads cars. We even did a race at Brands Hatch on the real BTCC weekend. This was in the days of the Listerine BMWs of Will Hoy and Tim Harvey. Happy memories.

TARTMAN 29-03-2012 11:07 PM

oh yeah

i remember them, had one great but still not as good as the cat xls........ but different drivers say different things.

I cant see any mention the tenth tech predators yet....!

My first Predator back in around 1995 was aspot on, straight out of the box I got FTD for the round in the first ever run with the car at a regional somewhere down London direction!

Dad didn't enjoy re-building the diffs every meet, or the way parts would randomly fall apart if you look at them wrong - but when they are setup right they were awesome.
